A Plus Blinds & Awnings
Project Brief
Say exactly what you fit, then make it easy to ask
Outcomes
Every product named, not implied
Nine interior products and six exterior ones, each with a heading, an image and a description. A customer searching for one specific thing — panel glides, channel awnings, PVC venetians — now lands on a page that says the words back to them.
The transformation
A full product range, hidden inside a single sentence.
Everything A Plus fits was already on the old site — rollers, venetians, shutters, awnings, the lot. It sat in one run-on paragraph, under no headline, on a grey panel. The rebuild takes the same range and gives every product its own door.

Four paragraphs of company description on a grey panel. No headline, one photo, and the entire product range buried in a single sentence.

A headline that says what they make and who it is for, a real Wagga install behind it, and a measure-and-quote card before you scroll.
No headline, anywhere
Before
The page opened with “A ‘Plus’ Blinds & Awnings is a family owned and operated window furnishing business servicing Wagga and surrounding districts.” A description, set as body copy. There was no H1 on the page at all.
After
“Blinds, shutters & awnings made to fit your home.” What they make and who it is for, in one line, above the fold.
Fifteen products in one sentence
Before
The range was listed as a single run-on paragraph — roller, vertical and honeycomb blinds, timber and PVC venetians, romans, shutters, roller shutters, mesh and PVC awnings. Entirely accurate, and almost impossible to scan.
After
Two doors, Interior and Exterior, with fifteen products behind them. Each one has its own section, its own photograph and its own description in plain language.
A catalogue behind one nav link
Before
Home, About, Products, Testimonial, Contact. A single “Products” link covering everything from honeycomb blinds to auto guide awnings.
After
Interior and Exterior split at the top level, so a customer picks the side of the house they are standing on before they pick a product.
Nothing structured for search
Before
No service markup of any kind. A search engine had exactly the problem a customer had — the range existed only as prose.
After
A HomeAndConstructionBusiness across the site with Wagga Wagga and the Riverina declared as service areas, and each hub page carrying a Service with a nested OfferCatalog listing all fifteen products individually.
The outcome
The range never changed. What a customer can find did.
Same family business, same forty years, same products. The difference is that someone looking for panel glides or channel awnings now lands on a page that says those words back to them — and so does a search engine.
Branding
Brand orange (#F15A29) against a near-black, with Outfit setting the headings and Source Sans 3 doing the reading. The styling pushes harder than most trade sites in the category, and deliberately so — the work is visual, so the site is built to show it.
Full-bleed photography of real installations around Wagga does the heavy lifting rather than supplier catalogue shots, and the measure-and-quote card overlaps the bottom of the hero so the one action that matters is on screen before anyone scrolls.
Schema that describes the catalogue, not just the business
Most trade sites stop at a business listing. This one carries a HomeAndConstructionBusiness across every page with its service area declared as both Wagga Wagga and the wider Riverina, and then goes a level deeper: each hub page holds a Service with a nested OfferCatalog listing all fifteen products as individual Service and Offer pairs, alongside breadcrumbs and typed AboutPage and ContactPage markup.
It means a search engine can see the full range as structured data rather than inferring it from headings — which is what keeps a local specialist visible against national retailers for blinds and shutter terms.
The first action is on screen before you scroll
The measure-and-quote card sits over the bottom edge of the hero with four short fields. No page change, no hunting for a contact link, and the phone number stays in the navigation the whole way down for anyone who would rather just ring.

A website that breathes the same quiet confidence as the retreat itself — turning curious visitors into confirmed guests.

An award-winning, patented machine represented by a website that had quietly stopped doing its job. The rebuild put the proof, the safety argument and the price list where a farmer looks first.

Pilates Education Australia
A studio that needed a second identity — one that speaks to people who want to teach Pilates, not to people booking a class. Built as its own brand on its own site, and still one click from the studio behind it.
